About Me
Hello! I'm William Downs, a graduate student currently in the MS-HCI program at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Before starting my masters, I studied Industrial Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology and also worked as a 3D Designer at the luxury furniture company Roche Bobois. Ever since I was a young child, I found joy in sketching my own versions of Jordan sneakers and Air Force 1s, long before I even realized that design could be a career. Today, I strive to maintain that child-like curiosity and infuse it into my design process. My primary passions lie in education, fintech, and mixed reality.
In the coming years, my aim is to explore and redefine the boundaries of beauty and innovative technology through my work. Beyond design, I indulge in weightlifting, playing the guitar (very poorly), basketball, photography, and experimenting with culinary delights.
